Cacao Kimono
Made in Bali
For all cacao lovers: This kimono has a milk-chocolate brown colour!
What is special: The Cacao Kimono is dyed 100% naturally! We have tracked down a traditional family in Bali that dyes textiles in an environmentally friendly way using plants from their garden.
Suitable for special occasions (cacao ceremony, women’s circle, meditation), but also over yoga outfits, bikinis or jeans. We love putting it on straight after getting up and making ourselves a cacao or coffee in it.
Fashion has never been more thoughtful and loving: Traditionally hand-woven from Ramie silk, a local plant that is breathable and smooth on the skin, this kimono is like a second skin.
Ethical and sustainable - we donate to a drinking water project and support Balinese women.
What’s more: This kimono gets blessed by a traditional Balinese healer in a sacred ceremony.
It carries that very special Bali frequency and the kimono protects and lifts your energy!
Material: 50% Ramie (ancient Asian nettle fiber), 50% Raw Cotton
Length: 118cm, unisize
Style: Two pockets and a belt
Care: Handwash. Since the kimono is so breathable and airy, washing is not necessary often. Experience shows that the kimono gets softer and softer with every wash and wear.

Material & Care
This product is made by a special plant fabric called "Ramie".
Ramie is a plant from the nettle family, native in East Asia.
Its leaves are heart-shaped ♡
This eco fibre is extracted from the stalk of the plant.
After a delicate drying process, the yarn gets spun.
Next step: the fabric is made by artisan hand-weaving on a traditional weaving loom.
Ramie is a vegan silk alternative
that is lighter and airier.
It is robust, yet very soft and silky, and extremely comfortable on the skin.
We recommend washing this
kimono by hand or in the ‘hand-wash’
programme in your washing machine.
The kimono gets softer and softer,
the more you wash it and the
more you wear it!

“The Kat & Cacao kimonos are truly my favorite. I love that they’re hand woven in Bali by talented Indonesian women and that they’re soft and cosy and beautiful - I already have three in different colors and can’t wait to buy more!”
